When souls move between worlds, they always have to go through a soul station. This is where souls wait for their interdimensional transport. This is where the different souls meet. The soul of an old mathematical scientist, the soul of a stubborn lizard, the soul of a moth, and the soul of an alien from a distant planet k-pax. It is not easy for them to find common ground, because they are used to the behavior of their physical shell. The soul of the moth flutters near the bright light bulb at the shower station, and the soul of the mathematician tries to find a piece of chalk to calculate when the next bus arrives. When souls are weaned from their old habits, they have to move back into a new being, and that's when the right bus arrives.
